Corrections Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
We’d rather be right than first. When we’re wrong, we say so out loud. Spin Me the News is owned and operated by Illuminet, LLC, 38 E Birch Street, St. Joseph, MN 56374.
How to Request a Correction
use our contact form and address it to Admin. Please include:
- The link to the post.
- The exact statement or score you think is wrong.
- Why it’s wrong, with a link to a reliable source if you have one.
- Your name and email so we can follow up (optional but helpful).
What Happens Next
- We review every request, usually within 2 business days.
- If a fact is wrong, we fix it and add a dated correction note at the bottom of the post explaining what changed.
- If a score changes because of an error, we show the old and new score and why.
- Significant corrections are also logged in our Corrections category.
- We don’t quietly edit facts. Typos and formatting fixes may be made without a note.
Opinions and Scores
Disagreeing with our opinion or a score isn’t an error by itself. We will reconsider a score if it rests on a factual mistake or if we applied our standards unevenly. We use the same standards for every side.
Updates
When a story develops after publication, we may add a dated “Update” note rather than a correction.
